BRYANT NIGHT
|
"I can't say exactly what's with Bryant Park, it's just as it is and it's a wonder."
A newyorker.
|
Bryant Park, New York City.
In 1776 George Washington crossed the area of the park
while retreating from the Battle of Long Island
and, between the 20s and 40s of 19th century,
the park was used as a graveyard.
The story of the park is full of anecdotes and
while Central Park is surely the "green lung" of NYC,
Bryant Park is "the lawn of Manhattan".
While I was there I asked myself
"Who are these people walking, waiting,
resting or reading under the trees of Bryant Park?".
Here's what I saw.
